On October 31, Her Excellency Dr. Andrijana Cvetkovik, Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to Japan, visited Soka University. She met Soka University President Yoshihisa Baba and had a campus tour thereafter.

Dr. Cvetkovik studied Japanese culture as well as cinematography at the Nihon University College of Art and received doctorates in both fields in 2009. In September 2013, she was appointed as the first Ambassador to Japan from Macedonia and assumed office in December 2014.

In their talk, Dr. Cvetkovik told President Baba that there are many students who wish to study Japanese in Macedonia. She hopes that universities in Macedonia and Soka University could build a fruitful relationship benefiting students of both countries.
