Ambassador Ndiyoi Muliwana Mutiti of the Republic of Zambia Visits Soka University

On December 11 (Monday), Ambassador Ndiyoi Muliwana Mutiti of the Republic of Zambia and her party visited Soka University and met with Board of Trustees Chair Yasunori Tashiro at the Central Tower.

After arriving on campus, the party toured the 5th-floor exhibition in the Main Building. Viewing the display showing how founder Dr. Daisaku Ikeda gave birth to Soka University and the university’s exchanges with other universities, Ambassador Mutiti shared that the founder was the only person that had received an honorary degree from all seven continents as far as she could tell, commenting that the world is “completely represented here.”
During the dialogue, Ambassador Mutiti shared that she was able to learn and witness what a wonderful university Soka University is through the day’s visit, and how she was impressed by the university’s educational goal to bring forth and discover the potential in each individual. She also said that she looks forward to building a great relationship between Soka University and universities in Zambia.
