On January 17 (Thursday), Director Nadezhda Kozlova of Russia’s Peoples’ Friendship University of Sochi visited and tied an academic exchange agreement with Soka University, and was welcomed by President Yoshihisa Baba.

Soka University tied an academic exchange agreement with the People’s Friendship University of Russia (Moscow) in 2014, and this time a new agreement was signed with the Sochi campus.

At the meeting, Director Nadezhda Kozlova stated: “In 2014, an academic exchange agreement was signed with the People’s Friendship University of Russia, contributing to the friendly relationship between Russia and Japan. We have continued to foster capable individuals through mutual student exchange. With the agreement tied this time, we would like to make efforts to further promote exchanges with Soka University and to foster capable people that can shoulder the futures of both nations.”
