Academic Agreement Signed with the Institute for Daisaku Ikeda Studies in Education at DePaul University in the United States

On May 28, 2019, an academic exchange agreement was made between Soka University’s Soka Education Research Institute and the Institute for Daisaku Ikeda Studies in Education at DePaul University (Chicago, Illinois, U.S.).

As a result of continued exchanges between these two institutes, the agreement was tied this time with the purpose to jointly engage in mutually beneficial educational research activities.

The agreement was signed by Director Junichi Kanzaka of the Soka Education Research Institute (dean of the Faculty of Economics) and Director Jason Goulah of the Institute for Daisaku Ikeda Studies in Education at DePaul University (associate professor of Bilingual-Bicultural Education).

This agreement is the second research institute with which Soka Education Research Institute has made academic agreements, following the agreement with the Center for Dewey Studies at Southern Illinois University, signed in February 2007.
