From this academic year, Philip Mulwa joined the Ekiden Team as a successor to Musoni Muil, a current senior.

Philip, from Kenya, Africa, is currently studying Japanese. In an English interview, he shared, “I can relax the most when I am running. I am making efforts every day so that many people can see me running. I am looking forward to my life at Soka University. While deepening friendships, I would like to do my best to run at a good pace.”
Philip has continued to renew his record after running 10,000 meters once and 5,000 meters twice.
