Professor Yoshiaki Terashima from the Soka University Faculty of Science and Engineering Wins the Student Activity Contribution Award at the 26th Consumer Device & System Research Presentation Meeting!

    At the 26th Consumer Device & System Research Presentation Meeting held from August 29th (Thursday) to 30th (Friday) at Hayama Port in Kanagawa Prefecture, Professor Yoshiaki Terashima from the Soka University Department of Information Systems Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, won the Information Processing Association Consumer Device & System Research Activity Contribution Award.

    The research meeting widely covers networking, collaboration technology, management technology, and related security technology of information appliances and consumer devices regardless of industry or academia. It aims to provide a place for engineers to exchange information about consumer devices & systems, including de facto and standardization activities.
    Professor Terashima received this award in recognition for his contributions as the chief examiner of this research group and as the vice editorial committee leader of the Transaction Papers Magazine.

    In response to this award, Professor Terashima said, “I am extremely honored to receive such an award. I will continue to push forward in research activities with students in my laboratory for practical technological development.”
