Donations

I would like to sincerely thank you for your deep understanding and considerable support of Soka University and Soka Women’s College. It is through the sincere support of so many people that we have been able to enhance and develop the educational and research environment at Soka University, and for that I offer my gratitude.

Under Soka University’s educational ideal of “fostering creative individuals” that can contribute to humanity and peaceful society as set forth by the founder Dr. Daisaku Ikeda, the university will aim to foster “global citizens.”

In addition, taking into consideration economic circumstances, Soka University will enhance its scholarship programs with a focus on benefit-type scholarship programs, in order to create an environment in which students can learn without unnecessary strain.

Soka University will firmly maintain the founder’s “student first” spirit and will put effort into enhancing the educational environment and student support.

I ask you for your continued warm support in the future and wish you further happiness and success.

Yasunori Tashiro
Chairman
Soka University Board of Trustees
