【FILA】A-bomb survivor testimony with UM students
On July 18th, an atomic bomb survivors online testimony event was held, organized jointly by students from the Faculty of International Liberal Arts and the University of Malaya in Malaysia. For this event, we received cooperation from Professor Nasrudin of the University of Malaya.
The entire event was conducted in English. In the first half, a second-generation atomic bomb survivor shared experiences, while in the latter half, there were activities such as origami crane folding, student presentations, and discussions among the participants.
Students who participated from Malaysia shared the following impressions: "I once joined a similar exhibition about the atomic bomb that was held in Malaysia, but back then I was very young so the only thing I could understand was that it was very deadly. Now when I listened to the testimony again, I have once more realised the importance of spreading peace and awareness throughout the world."
