【FILA】Workshop at the Soka Ikeda College in India

On September 25th (Mon), Professor Sugimoto from our faculty was invited as a speaker to an international workshop organized by the Computer Science Department of Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Sciences for Women in India. The workshop, attended by about 90 students, conducted an online course on data analysis using statistical analysis software R. At the beginning of the workshop, there was a welcoming address from Dr. Meera Murugesan the university president. Following that, an explanation of data analysis using statistical analysis software R with actual data was provided for about 90 minutes. After the lecture concluded, there were lively questions and feedback from the online course participants.
Professor Sugimoto stated, "I am impressed by the earnestness of the students at Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Sciences, and I believe it would be wonderful to continue such exchanges in the future."
