QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), a British university evaluation agency that announces the world's major university rankings, released the "QS Asia University Rankings 2024" (Asia University Rankings) on November 8th. Our university ranked in the range of 451-500 (tied for 57th in Japan).
This ranking is determined based on indicators such as the reputation among researchers, the number of papers and citations, as well as the ratios of faculty members, international faculty, international students, and students studying abroad.

In specific indicators, the university achieved the following rankings:
■Overall: 451-500 (tied for 57th in Japan)

• Percentage of international faculty: 72nd (5th in Japan)
• Outbound exchange students (for 1 semester or more): 94th (5th in Japan)
• Inbound exchange students (for 1 semester or more): 104th (10th in Japan)
• Percentage of international students: 154th (21st in Japan)

Our university was adopted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology in 2014 for the "Super Global University", and we have been working towards achieving the goal of globalizing the campus. Currently, we have academic exchange agreements with 248 universities in 66 countries and regions, with approximately 670 international students (about 10% of the student body) studying annually. We plan to continue our efforts to create an internationally diverse campus where a variety of students can learn from each other.
