On November 29th (Wednesday), a seminar commemorating the publication of academic works on Malaysia's look east policy and the establishment of the Center for Malaysian Studies was held. Guests from the Malaysian Embassy, including Minister Counsellor Radzween Abdul Razak and First Secretary Rima Ezrin, attended the event. After the opening remarks from President Suzuki, Professor Sugimoto, Associate Professor Nasrudin, and Senior Lecturer Ikbal from the Center for Malaysian Studies presented their research, followed by comments from Professor Emeritus Kato of Kyoto University.
After the seminar, they visited the research facilities of the Center for Malaysian Studies.
