【FILA】Buddy System
On Wednesday, June 26th, the 2nd General Meeting of the FILA Buddy System was held! The FILA Buddy System pairs first-year international students with third-year or higher Japanese students, forming pairs or groups of about three, with the goal of fostering invaluable friendships and enriching student life through mutual support. This semester, a total of 56 students are participating in this buddy system, engaging in various activities such as sharing their current situations over lunch. Run by the Student Council of the Faculty of International Liberal Arts, this system helps international students alleviate the anxieties of their unfamiliar life in Japan and make Japanese friends. For Japanese students, it provides an opportunity to enhance their intercultural understanding and English skills. At the 2nd General Meeting, discussions were held in small groups, transcending the boundaries of their buddy pairs!
