【FILA】Center for Malaysian Studies (CMS) Participation and Research Contributions at the International Conference “Robustness of Emerging Market Economies”

An international conference entitled “Robustness of Emerging Market Economies” was held over two days, Friday, December 19 and Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Kyoto University Clock Tower Centennial Hall.

The conference was co-organized by multiple research institutions, with the Kyoto Institute of Economic Research (KIER) playing a central role. The Center for Malaysian Studies (CMS), Soka University, participated in this international conference as a co-organizing institution.

In Session 1: Balanced Development of Societies in the Global Economy, Associate Professor Satogami and Associate Professor Utsumi presented their research, together with Associate Professor Koh from Monash University Malaysia.

In Session 2: Institutions and Inclusive Governance in Malaysia, Professor Sugimoto and Professor Sivamurugan from Universiti Sains Malaysia delivered their respective presentations.
