Soka University Glycan and Life Systems Integration Center (GaLSIC) held the 40th colloquium in person on August 21, 2026, inviting Prof. Hiroshi Kitagawa from Kobe Pharmaceutical University, as a lecturer. He gave a talk entitled "Disease Pathogenesis Based on Aberrant Biosynthesis of Chondroitin Sulfate Chains” (tentative translation).
