Director and Deputy Director of Soka University Glycan and Life Systems Integration Center (GaLSIC) gave a lecture at Human Glycome Atlas Project Special Symposium

On Monday, December 6, 2021, Institute for Glyco-core Research (iGCORE) hosted the Human Glycome Atlas Project Special Symposium: From Glycome Big Data to Innovations in Life Science and Medicine in a hybrid format with online at Nagoya University.
The symposium featured special lectures by Mr. Koichi Tanaka (2002 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry) from Shimadzu Corporation and Prof. Kazutoshi Mori (2014 Lasker Award winner) from Graduate School of Science at Kyoto University. From Soka University, President Yoshihisa Baba gave an address as a co-organizer, and Director Shoko Nishihara and Deputy Director Kiyoko F. Aoki-Kinoshita gave a lecture on the theme of “Fusion of Glycobiology and Informatics: From Glycan and Life Systems Integration Center to Human Glycome (tentative translation).”
