Lecture by General Manager of a Theme 4 partner company
On September 26, a guest lecture was held at the Faculties of Economics and Business Administration, featuring Ms. Nadia Abate, General Manager of Mulmul Bakery, a company operating a bakery business in Ethiopia.
In her lecture titled “Business in Ethiopia,” she introduced Ethiopia’s geography and culture, the founding background of her bakery, its management strategies, and her vision for future business development.
About 40 students, mainly from the Faculties of Economics and Business Administration, attended the lecture. During the Q&A session, students actively asked many questions, showing their strong interest in the topic. Although the lecture itself lasted about 25 minutes, the discussion continued for more than an hour.
Many international students also participated, and Ms. Nadia expressed her deep impression of Soka University’s diverse learning environment and the students’ proactive attitude. The lecture offered a valuable opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of global business and entrepreneurship.
