Short-term training under Theme 3 (Sub-theme 3-1)
From September 14 to 28, a short-term training program was conducted at Soka University under Theme 3, “Development of valuable products production system” (Sub-theme 3-1: microalgae cultivation).
Mr. Mankul Beshi, a research assistant from Bahir Dar University, participated in the training.
The program was titled “Microalgal Cultivation using Anaerobic Digestion Effluent and Analytical Skill Development.” During the training, Mr. Mankul learned various experimental and analytical techniques under the supervision of Soka University faculty members.
On September 26, a wrap-up session was held. Mr. Mankul first delivered a presentation reviewing his training period, sharing the skills he had acquired and insights that could contribute to his future research. Following his presentation, Prof. SATO, Project Leader of the SATREPS-EARTH Project, presented him with a certificate of completion.
