Project Leader and Theme 4 Leader Visit Ethiopia

From November 17 to 21, Professor Sato (Project Leader; Faculty of Science and Engineering) and Professor Takagi (Theme 4 Leader; Faculty of Economics) visited Ethiopia. During their visit, they exchanged views with the following organizations regarding the social implementation of food products containing spirulina, a key component of Theme 4 "Business model proposal and social implementation."

Two representatives from Mitsubishi UFJ Research and Consulting Co., Ltd. (MURC), Mr. Hirata (Project Coordinator), and Dr. Solomon (Project Manager; Bahir Dar University) also attended the discussions.

The meetings focused on the project's vision beyond its completion and the importance of strengthening partnerships with external stakeholders to facilitate social implementation.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to deepen discussions and further refine the project's vision for future social implementation.
