SATREPS-EARTH Project Members Visit Partner Company in Ethiopia
On March 9, 2026, 10 project members, including Prof. Sato (Project Leader), visited Mulmul Bakery in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
During a meeting with General Manager Ms. Nadia Abate, the project team shared the research progress since the previous visit in November 2025, including the results of compositional and production cost analyses of the EARTH-produced spirulina.
The participants also discussed future activity plans and agreed to conduct test marketing of products containing the EARTH spirulina at Mulmul Bakery after obtaining necessary food certification from the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to further advance discussions on the social implementation of the project.
