【FILA】 Gratitude to my Parents #16

【FILA】 Gratitude to my Parents #17

Ms. Mizuki Ishida
Faculty of International Liberal Arts

What feelings would you like to convey to your parents now?

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my parents, who always believe in my potential and support me until the very end. My university life began amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, but I was able to accomplish everything I dreamed of doing during these years: an exchange program in the Philippines, self-funded study abroad in France, and a summer program in Kenya. These experiences as a university student have become invaluable treasures in my life.
None of this would have been possible without my parents' unwavering support. They have always cheered me on wholeheartedly through every challenge I’ve taken on, and for that, I am truly and deeply grateful.

Do you have any impressive memories of your parents in your FILA life?

When I was struggling during my job-hunting journey, I often felt discouraged as I couldn’t achieve the results I hoped for. However, my parents continued to encourage me, saying, “You’ll surely end up on the best path for you.” Their words gave me the strength to keep going.
As a result, I received an offer from a company that perfectly aligned with the values and goals I was striving for. Moving forward into the working world, I am determined to do my best so I can give back to my parents, grandparents, and all the people who have always supported me.
