Greetings for the “50 Years of Soka University” Exhibition

The fifty-year history of Soka University
Soka University marked its 50th anniversary on April 2, 2021.
This exhibition first traces the history of the University in chronological order—from the preparation stage following the initial announcement in 1964 of a plan to establish the University all the way up to the present. We have also set up various displays featuring specific themes, such as the Soka University Student Song, which is a “cherished memory” shared among the 1st graduating class through the current cohort of students, the passage of the seasons on campus as captured by University founder Daisaku Ikeda, and how the campus has changed and evolved over the years. We invite you to experience the past, present, and future of Soka University through these displays.
