A mini exhibition of the 50th anniversary Special Exhibition – The History of Soka University was created

The History of Soka University, an exhibition commemorating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the university, was newly created as a permanent exhibition in the Central Tower.
Due to the coronavirus, it is difficult for visitors to come to the campus. A mini exhibition showing the digest of the exhibition was made and placed at Soka Alumni Gatherings (large venues) held in various locations.
The mini exhibition introduces part of the new special exhibition, and it was created using simple folding panels.

The size of each banner measures 2000mm (H) x 850mm, with each banner introducing the development of the university from before its opening to the present day. Aerial photographs are arranged chronologically at the bottom, and the last banner (6th banner) introduces an excerpt from the founder’s message found in the introduction of the 50 Years of Soka University book compiled to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the university’s founding.

As we welcome the 50th anniversary of the university’s founding, we hope that this exhibition will help alumni reminisce and share their memories when they gather in various locations.

The mini exhibition is placed only at large venues and rented based on applications by Soyukai (Alumni association).

We have recently installed one set of the mini exhibition in the Soka Bunka (Culture) Center in Shinanomachi.
