Overview of Department of Green Technology

Reclaiming the Future of Earth

The effect of global warming are becoming increasingly apparent in our daily life. If this kind of "tropicalization" continue, four seasons thaty we cherished so much will dwindled down to just Summer and Winter. The world is eagerly anticipating for low-carbon and decarbonization technologies. Furthermore, food shortages driven by population growth have become a serious issue, leading to strong desire of improved food productivity through the use of IoT.

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in international joint research project.

Year 1

Get a head start in your first year with our "First-Year Seminar" and "Green Technology Research Experience Program."

By visiting real-world sites dedicated to low-carbon tech and bio-production, you’ll witness the "Earth today" and the latest solutions firsthand. These experiences provide the essential foundation for you to discover your passion and choose your field of expertise.

Year 2

Deepen your knowledge and skills through advanced lectures and laboratory work.

As your studies become more advanced, the selection of practical training and seminar courses also expands. We offer a diverse range of subjects, including "Marine Study Practicum", "Water Treatment Engineering Experiments", "Environment Analytical Chemistry Experiments", "Production System Experiment", "Plankton Engineering Experiment", "Plant factory practicum" and more.

Year 3 & 4

Join a laboratory and gain practical experience through collaborative research with companies and overseas universities.

After exploring your interests during your first and second years, you will finally select a laboratory to join. Many students participate in practical activities, such as joint research projects with industry partners, often leading directly to their future careers. There are also numerous opportunities to take on challenges with an eye toward graduation, including "International Internships" and "Corporate Internships."
